Driver's Education End-of-Season Gathering - 09.11.2004

The Driver’s Education season for 2004 ended not with a checkered flag, but rather with a party hosted by Chief Instructor Jeff Amos. All who participated in any of the SEMPCA Driver’s Ed events were invited and a goodly number took advantage of Jeff’s and SEMPCA’s hospitality. There, bathed in sunlight, they met under a striped tent and swapped tales of high-speed turns and flat out accelerations. Although students and instructors alike left significant amounts of tire rubber, brake dust, and other assorted items at the track, all agreed that the 2004 season was a great success.

This gathering was the first of what may become a season ending tradition. Food was provided by SEMPCA and beverages of choice were provided by attendees. What a great way to end a driving season.
