SEM Driver's Education - 09.08.2005

SEM/PCA Driver's Education Sponsored by

The final Driver's Education event at Waterford Hills Raceway took place on
Sep 8. It brought to an end the DEs for the year. The event was well attended
and a good time was had by all. And the event ended with a real surprise, as
you will see below.

These pictures were taken by Michael, Diana, and Finn Eblenkamp. My thanks
to them, and to others, who have provided me with wonderful pictures to
document this year's track events. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
They make my job much easier.

The photographers gave me many pictures of the people at the event. Where I
know theri names I have used them in the captions. I recognize most of the
people, but my lack of ability with names makes me unable to identify many of
these people, If you know who they are, please let me know by sending me an

The day began with the manditory drivers' meeting. Everybody looked so stern
and serious.

Chief Instructor Jeff Amos took Renee Letchworth, a friend of Diana Eblenkamp, for a ride in Al Wright's 911. After the ride she said, "Oh my god, .... you guys are crazy!!" There certainly is nothing like this at Cedar Point!

The day ended with the drawing for a set of Dunlap tires that was provided by our
sponsor. Finn Eblenkamp helped Jeff Amos by drawing the winner. And the winner
is dad Michael Eblenkamp. Lets hope that Finn got a little extra in his allowance for
that week!
