2006 Chili Cookoff Text by Gary Buchanan Sunday April 23, 2006 the day was cool, cloudy and rainy but that didn't dampen our spirits for our contest. The 32 people who attended were hosted by Gary and Judi Buchanan and prepared 8 different chillis for sampling. We also had cornbread, salads and of course deserts. The 1st place went to Gary and Pat Ambrus, 2nd to Pat and Rich Benz, 3rd to Charlie and Dairdre McGlothlin and 4th to Dick Walker. Thanks to everyone who attended and brought dishes to pass. The reciepes should be on the web in the near future. |
